The main purpose of any plant is production. With our integrated asset management approach, we help you to achieve stable operation and meet your production targets with the desired product quality. By ensuring continuous improvement in the safety, reliability, availability, lifetime, productivity and efficiency of your assets, we maximize your return on capital employed (ROCE). In short: We help you to generate greater value from your physical assets.
Generally speaking, asset management means maximizing the value of an asset and sustaining it throughout its entire lifecycle: from acquisition, commissioning and operation to disposal. It involves aligning the activities relating to an organization’s assets with the objectives of the organization itself, finding the optimum blend of activities to best achieve these objectives.
And this is exactly what we do: A wealth of experience in plant engineering and construction as well as in providing systematic asset management solutions enable us to optimize both the operation and maintenance of your plants and machinery.
We offer a range of solutions from consulting to performance-based outsourcing contracts to support you in improving your business. Our services, which vary with regard to their duration and scope of responsibility, are all designed to cost-effectively enhance your plant's performance and extend its service life.
Our consulting experts assess current performance against target performance in key specific areas such as occupational safety and health, productivity, quality, reliability and efficiency. They identify underperforming areas and analyze the root cause. Drawing upon their vast technological and engineering experience, our thyssenkrupp experts then provide individual recommendations for improvement to continuously ehance your plant performance.
Our technical guidance service is designed for customers who have identified a deficit in their asset management organization, processes or performance. A team of thyssenkrupp asset management specialists will be based at your plant full-time , typically for a period of one to two years. This team will engage in various tasks related to the management, engineering and supervision of asset management in order to increase plant performance and effectiveness .
The team may work in parallel to your asset management organization, become part of it or act as its lead. In their work, our experts can rely on the technology, process and equipment specialists in our new-build departments for any required support.
With our contracting service, we take full line responsibility for your plant, implementing thyssenkrupp’s integrated asset management system. As your strategic partner for outsourcing, we take care of the maintenance or O&M of your plants, delivering the highest safety, reliability, availability, service life, productivity, quality and efficiency of your plant through continuous improvements. This frees you to focus entirely on your core business.
Our services include O&M for both existing and planned plants, including those partly or entirely from third-party suppliers.
